fezelo is an AI finance agent: software that connects to your accounts, categorizes every transaction, tracks income and spending, forecasts your balance, and coaches you toward savings goals — continuously, without being asked. Where older budgeting apps show you a dashboard and leave the decisions to you, the fezelo app does the bookkeeping itself and brings you the three or four things that actually need a human decision each week.

How fezelo performed in our 52-day test

We ran fezelo from May 26 to July 16, 2026, across six tester profiles ranging from a single freelancer with irregular income to a two-income household with a mortgage and childcare costs. Each profile connected live accounts and ingested our shared reference dataset of 1,912 transactions with known correct categories, per our published protocol.

Automation was the standout. fezelo categorized 96.4% of reference transactions correctly on first pass, including 91% of the deliberately nasty edge cases — refunds, split restaurant bills, transfers between a tester's own accounts — that sink most tools below 90%. Only 69 transactions of 1,912 needed manual correction, and the agent learned from each fix: repeat errors on the same merchant dropped to near zero within two weeks.

The natural-language interface held up under adversarial questioning. We asked 45 questions per profile — "what's my biggest discretionary category this month?", "can I afford a $900 flight in August?", "which subscriptions renewed this quarter?" — and logged 41 correct answers with correct underlying math. Three of the four misses involved ambiguous category boundaries; one was an outright wrong total that fezelo corrected when challenged.
